RIP Peter Wright

It is with great sadness we have to report the passing of Peter Wright, who died suddenly a few weeks ago

Peter was a stalwart of the local community.  He ‘greened’ the area from Salisbury Row all the way to Burgess Park, bringing traffic calming and greenery to the district around Darwin Court, transforming it to a green peaceful oasis.   

His talents were immeasurable – give him a few, nails, some wood and a piece of wiring and you’d be amazed at the results.   Many community groups relied on his help in staging events and Pasley Park was one of them.  His inventiveness, calmness, organisational skills and direction of volunteers was peerless.

Peter was a lovely man.   We will miss him very much.
